The Memory Hunters

I read an article on the BBC News website about The Memory Hunters, a group of people that clean and restore photographs recovered after Japanese Tsunami in 2011. The article is very well written and I have to admit made me cry.

The power of family photographs and the memories connected to them to help people get through hard parts of life is phenomenal. I know that my photo albums would be the first thing I reach for in the case of any disaster.
