Hi, I'm Morgyn. I'm an American-born portrait photographer based in Essex, specialising in headshots and family photography across Essex and London.

My grandfather introduced me to photography. He was a Southern Baptist minister who married members of his congregation, took their wedding photos, then developed them in his bathroom at home.

Luckily for my partner, we have digital cameras now. The bathroom remains a bathroom.

I studied photography and started out as a family photographer. Then life happened and I stepped back. After having my son, I wanted to show him it's possible to work hard and follow your dreams.

I've also spent many years working in production tech. That means I bring an analytical mind to your shoot. I do the planning, sort out the timings and think through the details, so on the day you can relax and enjoy it.
